Victories Of The Soul And Spirit - Elie Wiesel

We are all brothers and we are all suffering the same fate. The same smoke floats over all our heads. Help one another. It is the only way to survive.” ― Elie Wiesel.

During the Second World War, European Jewry was faced with annihilation and was engaged in a constant struggle for its very survival. In 1944, Elie, then 15 years of age, was deported along with his family to separate concentration camps in Auschwitz, Buna, and Buchenwald. His mother and youngest sister were killed early on and his father died of malnourishment and mistreatment before the prisoners were liberated by the Allied forces.
