Host A Delightful Tea Ceremony

Diwali parties look a little different this year. More intimate, but could still be made a lot more fun with your friends and family members. Maybe not a houseful of people but a chosen few bunch of people would do, great jazz music to go with that and an assortment of sweet and savoury Diwali treats. Combine some immunity infused teas to this celebration because, let’s be honest we all need them and there are many calming variations. Here’s presenting some to transform your high teas in to party teas:

The Japanese Tea

Ingredients: 2 teaspoon green tea leaves or Sencha & hot water.

Steps:

  1. Take hot water in the cup.
  2. Put tea leaves in the teapot.
  3. Empty the hot water from the cup into the teapot.
  4. Let the tea brew for some time.
  5. Pour the brewed tea into the cup through the strainer.
  6. Enjoy the perfectly brewed hot green tea.

The High Tea

Ingredients: 4 teaspoons of your imperial tea & hot water.

Steps:

  1. Take out the metal infuser from the Brewmaster and fill it with the imperial tea.
  2. Boil water in our Steamcatcher at 65 degrees.
  3. Pour water within the Brewmaster and place the metal infuser within it.
  4. Turn the knob on top of the Brewmaster to set the timer at 4 minutes.
  5. Once you hear the distinct buzz, your tea is ready to be served.
  6. Pour it in our Black Ceramic Mug and enjoy your imperial brew.
  7. Use the tealight and place it within the bottom frame to keep your tea warm for longer.

The Classic Tea

Ingredients: 2 teaspoon Tea leaves or tea powder, milk, water, sugar, ground mix of green cardamom pods, cinnamon sticks, cloves, ginger & black peppercorns.

Steps:

  1. Add water in a vessel as per your liking. Mostly, masala chai is made by mixing one part milk with two to four parts water.
  2. Put this on the flame, add tea leaves or tea powder.
  3. Allow it to boil for a few minutes until the decoction turns dark.
  4. Add the ground masala.
  5. Pour milk as per your liking to this simmering concoction.
  6. Boil on low flame as simmering helps the tea to thicken.
  7. Pour it out in our Masala Teapot and serve it directly in our Masala cups.
  8. Add sugar as per your liking, sit back and enjoy the rejuvenating flavour.
